Discouraging

Fri Jun 13, 2008, 8:51 PM
I've been home and practically idle for 2 weeks. My first job opportunity turned out to be a bust, but at least I've started posting some of my work here!

  • Listening to: the fan
  • Reading: nothing in particular
  • Watching: the cat chase my bracelet all over the floor
  • Playing: solitaire
  • Eating: too much candy
  • Drinking: not enough

Thank you for the advice! It's a wide and terrifying world out there for this recently graduated student, I'll need all the help I can get to put gas in the tank and food on the table.
:iconlaughingscarab:
Welcome! At long last, the internet is made privy to your glorious creations. Godsspeed ye!
:icongreyreith:
Haha, and about time too! Though "glorious" will have to wait until I can get my hands on an enameling kiln, there's just nothing like a nice splash of color to liven things up.

An how are you fairing with your smithing endeavors?
:iconlaughingscarab:
It's going well. No steady job as of yet, still getting the new house in order, and working on several projects at once to make rent. The fun never stops.

I'll be looking into building my own kiln soonish... my impression is that it's much cheaper than buying.
